Postdoctoral Training

At any given time approximately 45 postdoctoral scientists are conducting research in the laboratories within the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics. Postdoctoral scientists come to the department from around the world and, together with postdoctoral scientists in other laboratories at Columbia University, form a vibrant international community of scholars.

Postdoctoral scientists are offered positions directly by faculty members. Accordingly, prospective postdoctoral scientists are encouraged to contact individual faculty members.
